HERITAGE RESTORATION & TIMELESS CRAFTSMANSHIP

Trabzon Atatürk Pavilion Historical Kitchen Restoration

THE BRIEF

Realized in the historic Trabzon Atatürk Pavilion, this monumental restoration project involved the meticulous revival of the mansion's original kitchen, honoring the profound memory and values of the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Our team expertly crafted custom terrazzo countertops (historically known as çini/mosaic style) and restored the traditional cabinetry and cast-iron cooking stove section, ensuring absolute harmony with the pavilion's 19th-century architectural heritage.

MATERIAL NARRATIVE

In strict adherence to the historical fabric of the Trabzon Atatürk Pavilion, our team undertook the specialized production of terazzo surfaces—historically referred to as çini work—replacing deteriorated elements while maintaining the exact visual and tactile authenticity. The lower cabinetry was carefully restored in classic white tones, matching the pavilion's period-accurate plate racks and ceramic tiled backsplash. Furthermore, the traditional cast-iron cooking range and heating section were meticulously preserved and integrated, safeguarding the timeless legacy of Atatürk for future generations.
